Tonto is a 14 year old, grade TWH gelding that stands 15 hands tall. He leads, loads, stands for the farrier to be tacked up and mounted, and loads well in our stock trailer. Tonto has went everywhere we have pointed him. We’ve had him up and down the river, around kids, whips, tarps, traffic, dogs, etc. He has a nice walk and gait. When we first got him, we rode him quite a bit and he was lazy. Now that he has settled in, he is a little buddy sour towards our herd when leaving the barn or pasture. He hasn’t done anything mean but he will knicker. After riding him quite a bit, he would probably be best suited for a one-horse owner or for someone who is going to want a horse to follow behind on the trails. I think his buddy sour issue can be fixed, we just do not have the time to do so. He gets along well with our other horses and we have easily been able to catch him. He will come with current negative coggins and a health certificate. He is up to date with our farrier and has on four keg shoes. He is ready for his yearly vaccinations. Tonto is priced at $2,500.
