Strawberry Shortcake, also known as Berry, is a 13 year old, grade TWH mare that stands 15’1 hands tall. She leads, loads, stands for the farrier, to be tacked up and mounted and loads well in our stock trailer. She also grooms and bathes well. She also trims/clips without a twitch. She has been trail ridden all over KY. We have had her up and down banks, across the Green River, at our local park, around traffic, kids, kayakers, etc. We have also exposed her to gunfire and she took to it very well. With a few days of training she would be excellent at it. She has a nice slow walk, a running walk, and a four beat gait. She will go into a canter if asked but she would rather gait. She will back up and also neck reins. We currently have Berry pastured with our other horses and she is very kind to them. Berry is currently keg shod and up to date with our farrier. She will come with current negative coggins and a health certificate. Berry did come with a few field scars, that are pictured on our website, but do not seem to affect her in any way. Berry is a sweetheart and would make a good mount for most anyone! Berry is priced at $3,500. We accept many different forms of payment. Berry is located in Greensburg, KY.
