Rosie is an 8 year old, grade Walkaloosa mare, standing 15 hands tall. Rosie has been ridden by everyone around. We’ve had inexperienced adults to VERY inexperienced children on her and she will put up with anything. She is patient and she is kind. She leads, loads in our stock trailer, stands for the farrier, and to be tacked up and mounted. She stands patiently to be bathed without a fuss, like a true lady. She is not marish. She has been around our other horses, has been stalled too and does great with either. She is not at the top of the totem pole, she just falls in the middle of our herd. When we want to catch Rosie out in the pasture or in her stall, we can say her name and she will come. She is easily caught and will easily put her head down for you to put her halter on her. She has a nice gait, canter, back, and will walk all day long if you ask her. She will decently neck rein. She has been introduced to gun fire, and only made a few movements while we shot. She doesn’t mind the water, big bridges, dogs, tarps, traffic, runners, people passing by at the park, or screaming kids. She will put up with anything and tries to please you the best she can. Rosie will make a great addition for your family. Rosie will come with current negative coggins and a health certificate. Rosie is priced at $4,250. We accept many different forms of payment.
