Rio

Rio is an 11 year old grade, TWH gelding that stands 15’1 hands tall barefooted. He came out of Amish country and was being rode around by an Amish woman but has most recently just been turned out in the pasture. He clips and bathes, stands for the farrier and to be tacked and mounted. He hauls good and stalls or pastures fine. He stood and rode off quietly but he likes to just poke around and walk and go at his own speed and will ride this way and go anywhere you ask him at his own speed. If you ask him to step up and kick or use the reins to speed him up he will hump up and kick once and then he will go right back to his own gear walking and shaking. He would be perfectly fine for someone that just wanted to mosey down the trail and a smooth walking gait. We have not rode him past the running walk due to his little quirk when asked to move out. It could be him simply being lazy from not being ridden and trying to get out of work. He’s fat, slick and pretty as one comes and is going to be priced worth the money where you can take this gelding home and fix him and make you an excellent trail mount.
