Pegaseus’ Rising Sun is a 21 year old, registered NSSHA gelding that stands 15’1 hands tall. This gentleman has been there, done that, and then some. Most folks would have ditched his papers and called him 12 because he truly does not show his age whatsoever. We had him out this past week with the kids, and he carried them with ease and put up with their craziness very well. He never even broke a sweat. They climbed, jumped, yelled, and he was completely fine with it all. Both girls that were riding him are 6, and 8 years old. They are inexperienced riders but he showed them that they could comfortably sit in the saddle and ride. He has a nice smooth, walk, four beat gait, will canter, neck reins and backs up easily. He is easy to ride on the trail, in the river and meets traffic easily. He is the true definition of beginner broke. He should have a solid 10 years of riding left on him, if not more. He is in excellent shape. We have found no maintenance issues other than regular visits with our farrier. He is current with our farrier, and is current on vaccinations until September.
