Merle is a 16 year old, grade TWH/Draft cross gelding that stands 16 hands tall. Merle leads, loads in our stock trailer, stands well for our farrier, stands to be tacked up, as well as mounted and dismounted. He also grooms well, bathes easily and trims without a twitch. When we got Merle, he has been turned out for several years. As you can see by the video, he has done excellent with some minor refreshing and will continue to improve with more wet saddle pads. His main point of concern was his mouth and steering but he is now doing great. He has a nice walk, slow gait, and canter. He has went anywhere we have pointed him. He is excellent through the trails and on the road. He has met cars, crossed bridges, been in the river, and has been trail ridden all over. Merle has a current PPE, as well as current vaccinations, and current negative coggins. He will also come with a health certificate. He is up to date with our farrier and shod on all four feet.
