Goliath is a 12 year old, grade TWH gelding that stands 16 hands tall on the stick. This big, stout horse has been trail ridden all over Kentucky and Tennessee. Goliath is a gentleman. He leads, loads, and stands for the farrier. He stands very well for a bath and he clips without a twitch. Goliath stands to mount and dismount. Goliath easily picks up all four feet and is UTD with our farrier as he was shod this past week and he has on four keg shoes. Goliath gets along well with other horses and is more of a middle to lower man on the totem pole. He would rather just mind his own business. We’ve currently had Goliath stalled and he is very easy to approach in a stall and keeps a stall very clean. He is very easy to tack up and lowers his head to take a bit. He will walk on a loose rein or pick it on up and move you down the trail in a nice four beat gait. He’s got that old time walking horse gear. He backs up well. He isn’t scared of the water or of traffic. He hits the river wide open and loves it. This big guy is one that would make most any horse rider happy to own. With fall riding season coming up, this is one you don’t want to miss out on. He would also be good for the show. Goliath will come with fresh current negative coggins. Goliath is priced at $2,500.
