Coal is a 16 year old, grade TWH gelding that stands 15’1 hands tall. Coal has been trail ridden all over. He leads, loads in our stock trailer, stands very well for our farrier, tacks up and is easily able to mount and dismount. He also grooms and bathes well. Coal has a nice head shaking walk, smooth four beat gait, canter, and will back up a country mile. He will also neck rein well for a gaited horse. When mounting, he will park out. We have had him on the trails, in the river, on the road meeting traffic, etc. He is trail and traffic safe. He is very sure footed. Coal is one you can show at the fun shows on Saturday night and trail riding on Sunday evenings. I would suggest Coal for an advanced beginner because he does has some get up and go. He is very safe and kind, but can be forward moving if asked but in the same breath will also walk all day long. Coal will come with a pre-purchase exam, current negative coggins, current vaccinations, that include a 5-Way (which covers Eastern and Western viruses), West Nile and Rabies. Coal is also up to date with our farrier and is freshly shod on all four feet with keg shoes. He will come with some field scars and scratches but nothing that seems to bother him.
