Butterscotch is a 16 year old, unregistered Spotted Saddle Horse mare that stands 16 hands tall. Butterscotch leads, loads in our stock trailer, stands for our farrier, to be tacked up, as well as mounted and dismounted. She also clips, bathes and grooms well. She has a nice walk, four beat gait and will easily back up. Butterscotch is one that if you know the basics of riding, and are comfortable sitting in the saddle, you should have no issue riding her whatsoever. She will stand like a statue while mounting and will not move until you ask her to. She has been in the creek, around dogs, will ride with cars passing by, across big bridges, and has been exposed to gunfire. Butterscotch has a kind hard and is easy to be around. She has one mark on her back leg where she scraped it but it has healed and doesn’t affect her. Butterscotch will come with current negative coggins and a health certificate.
