Buster is a 15 year old grade Kentucky Mountain saddle horse gelding standing 15’2 hands tall. He leads, loads, stands for the farrier and to be tacked and mounted with out any issues. He clips and bathes the best and is quiet as mouse in the cross ties. He is a sweet, loving guy that loves attention. He is easy to catch. He stalls and pastures well and gets along great with others and would be a middle of the pecking order type guy. Buster has previously just been hanging out in the pasture without a real job and hadn’t been rode in well over a year. When we got Buster we bathed, clipped and had our farrier put brand new keg shoes all the way around. Buster rode off like he was rode all summer. He has a nice running walk and then will pick it up and move you down the road in a real 4 beat gait that is a joy to ride. He will walk down the trail on a loose rein too. He crosses all trail obstacles and loves the water. He will go up and down the steep hills and banks with the most careful step. He doesn’t mind traffic of any kind and will cross bridges big and small. He was introduced to gun fire for first time to my knowledge and he did great. He would be a great hunting mount with very little work to have him completely gun trained. I would suggest an intermediate rider due to the fact he is no dead head and will pick it up and move down the road when asked. He also has a very nice canter that will cover some ground and will go from the canter right back into a 4 beat saddle gait without missing a beat. Buster would make a great trail horse for most anyone or would do good at the county fair fun shows and is going to be priced worth the money. The only bad thing I can say about Buster is that he came with some hair missing on his skin around the chest, neck and face. It has been being treated and is looking better everyday. We think it could have been rain rot, etc. With this being said he will be priced at $2,200. We accept cash, PayPal, and ApplePay. Buster is located in Russell Springs, KY.
