Blackjack

Blackjack is a 7 year old, unregistered Kentucky Mountain gelding that stands 15’1 hands tall on a keg shoe. Blackjack leads, loads in our stock trailer, stands well for the farrier, and also to be mounted and dismounted. He also is a gentleman to be trimmed, bathed and groomed. He has a nice walk, square going four beat gait and will easily back up. He is very well broke. We have taken him through the trails, in water, on the road meeting cars, and have even hooked him to the cart. We have recently started driving him and he has done excellent. He is a fun ride that is forward going and will go all day long. He has been ridden by teens, women and men. He does well riding by himself or in a group. He has a nice chunky, thick build that is comfortable to ride and will carry you with ease. Blackjack has just started back trail riding for the season and will continue to be ridden until he finds his forever home. He is definitely a fun ride! He is currently keg shod on all four feet and is up to date with our farrier. He will come with current negative coggins. Blackjack is located in Greensburg, KY.
