Annie is a 14 year old, grade Spotted Saddle Horse mare that stands 15’1 hands tall. Annie leads, loads in our stock trailer, stands to be tacked up, as well as mounted and dismounted. She stands well for a bath and to be groomed. She has a nice walk, four beat gait and canter. Annie has recently had several years of standing in the pasture and not being ridden. She tacked up and rode off like she had been ridden everyday with very little fuss. We exposed her to gunfire and would have thought she’d seen a gun every day of her life. She is gentle around us, and will do anything you ask of her. She doesn’t mind the water, trails, dogs, big bridges, traffic, etc. We did have her teeth floated about three weeks ago.
